Deal Summer Market – 24th to 26th July 2020

Seaside Summer Market

We will be hosting Deal Summer Market along the picturesque Deal Castle Promenade from 24th – 26th July 2020. Steeped in history, Deal Castle provides the backdrop to a fantastic outdoor shopping experience in the fresh air with extensive sea views. Featuring delicious street foods, handmade groceries, bar, artisan arts & crafts, clothing and accessories, the market will have something for the whole family to enjoy.

Street Foods

Freshly prepared street foods will include the ever-popular pork or chicken souvlaki, Mexican dishes such as burritos, nachos, tacos, fajitas & chilli, Thai and Chinese delicacies plus a range of juicy meats cooked in a smoker oven. Treat yourself to a tipple at The Famous Last Stand bar which will be on hand serving a range of ales, lager, cider, Prosecco, gin and plenty of fizz!

Handmade Groceries, Arts & Crafts

The Deal Summer Market will showcase locally produced handmade groceries as well as those from a little further afield. Indulge in some special treats including triple chocolate chip muffins with various toppings, giant cookies, award winning flavoured waxed cheese truckles, Spanish and French Saucisson, olives, nuts, Turkish delight, baklava, chutneys and fudge to handmade chilli products. Accompanying the many food stalls will be a varied range of arts & crafts. These will include unusual artisan items such as collages from beach combing walks & nautical decoupage, handmade solid sterling silver jewellery, contemporary art including local scenes and glass products for the home & garden.

Your Deal Community Group

Your Deal Community Group will be on hand to offer help and advice on local issues. They also assist local groups set up invents for charities and good causes and offer local days out with all profits going back to the Deal Community.

Social Distancing
