Marlow Food & Drink Festival Returns

We are delighted to be returning to Higginson Park to host the Marlow Food & Drink Festival this weekend from 9th – 11th July 2021. The event will build on previous years when the food and drink festival was held in the same idyllic location beside the River Thames during the summers of 2018 and 2019. Visitors will be able to choose from a wide selection of freshly prepared street foods and artisan grocery products ,as well as browsing arts & crafts, listening to live music or enjoying a craft beer from the Famous Last Stand bar.

Mouth-watering Foodie Treats

Among a huge range of freshly prepared street foods to choose from there will be pork or chicken souvlaki, meats cooked in a traditional smoker oven, Mexican fajitas, crepes prepared with fair trade ingredients, jerk chicken and churros plus traditional Thai & Chinese dishes. Other mouth-watering foodie treats will be available to take home and enjoy from stalls selling handmade groceries and fresh produce such as award winning flavoured waxed cheese truckles, cakes, fudge, truffles, fresh fruit and olives.

Famous Last Stand Bar

The Famous Last Stand Bar will be with us all weekend serving a selection of ale, lager, cider, Prosecco and gin fizzes. This year we’ve teamed up with the local Marlow Rebellion Brewery to serve a number of their amazing beers. Rebellion Brewery members will get 50p off a pint of Rebellion Brewery beer from the bar, when their membership card is shown!

Live Music and Children’s Entertainment

We have a great line up of live music planned for the Marlow Food & Drink Festival this weekend with Ian Fox and Harripaul playing on Saturday and Don McDermott and The Moonbeans joining us for the Sunday. Children’s rides will be on hand to entertain our younger visitors.

Arts and Crafts

The food festival and entertainment will be accompanied by a dedicated craft section where visitors can pick up unique arts, crafts, clothing and accessories providing shoppers an opportunity to find unusual items for the home or gifts for friends and family.

Covid Safety Measures

Whilst the UK’s vaccination roll out has been progressing quickly, allowing us to return much closer to normal life, some restrictions still remain for this event and we should all remain vigilant. When attending the Marlow Food & Drink Festival this year, please adhere to signage relating to social distancing, one way systems or queueing points for the stalls / bar plus any other Covid safety measures in place for your protection, as well as following the advice of our stewards on the day. Extra sanitation measures will be in place such as hand sanitising points for our visitors to use. Please do not come to the event if you are displaying any symptoms of Covid-19.

Marlow Food & Drink Festival is a great part of a visit to Marlow for the whole family. Join us from 11am – 8pm Friday 9th July 2021, 9am – 8pm Saturday 10th July 2021 and 10am – 6pm Sunday 11th July 2021!
