We are delighted that Tenterden Food & Drink Festival will be returning to Tenterden Recreation Ground this weekend from 10th – 12th September 2021! After scaling down last year’s festival to a summer market, we are pleased to be running the festival in it’s full glory following the success of the recent vaccination programme, whilst asking visitors to remain vigilant concerning the risks of Covid-19.
This years Tenterden Food & Drink Festival will bring together Kent traders with locally produced items as well as those with unusual products from much further afield. Among the scrumptious street food selection will be souvlaki, fajitas, burritos, churros, Ethiopian style barbecue chicken, Srilankan street food and crepes. Handmade groceries will be available to take home and enjoy (if you can wait that long!) from firm favourites such as Elle’s Bakery and Granny Sally’s Fudge.
Alongside the foodie treats, a weekend of live music is scheduled for the main stage beginning at 3.30pm on Friday afternoon with a performance from The Moonbeans duo. The music will continue on Saturday and Sunday with performances as follows:
12pm – 2pm – Nate Austin
2pm – 4pm – Pete Smith
4.15pm – 6.15pm Zac Schultz Gang
12pm – 2.30pm – Acoustix
2.30pm – 6.15pm Katie Bradley and David Ferra
A craft section will add extra colour and vibrancy to the festival with items as diverse as Tunisian pottery, artisan sterling silver jewellery, Italian clothing and crystals available to browse. A small selection of children’s rides will be on hand to keep the children entertained.
Tenterden Food & Drink Festival will be open on Friday 10th September 12pm – 6pm, Saturday 11th September 10am – 7pm and Sunday 12th September 11am – 6pm. For further information about Tenterden Food & Drink Festival please visit our event page here.
