Hythe's Food and Drink Festival returns, bringing its quirky blend of food focused fun wrapped in the tranquil setting of Holman's Field alongside the iconic Royal Military Canal. Food for thought and food for fun as this great community gathering celebrates its 9th year in a most relaxed and convivial way
An eclectic gathering of grocery food, craft and art stalls is complimented by a range of entertainments for the whole family including two live music stages, children's workshops and funfair rides together with an author's tent, cooking demos and comedy. Add to this two alfresco dining areas served by bars of distinction and international pop up kitchens, Hythe's Food and Drink Festival is the perfect starter to the freedom of the summer holiday season.Opening times for Food and Drink Festival:

Sitting on the English Channel, Hythe’s charismatic and tranquil charm is now recognised by a growing number of summertime visitors. The Hythe Food and Drink Festival similarly attracts a great selection of local, national and international stalls to its idyllic location alongside the iconic Royal Military Canal.
The quality of the shopping experience is complimented by a range of entertainments for the whole family and an alfresco dining area, together with street foods and bars of true distinction.
Two live music stages together with the author’s tent, children’s entertainment and funfair rides are just some of the attractions that make this an event for the whole family.

Kent singer-songwriter Katie Bradley came into the spotlight with her 2012 iTunes Blues hit “I hear the river” which received a nomination for Best original song in the British Blues Awards.
Katie continues to ascend celebrating a highly acclaimed career supporting and collaborating with artists across the world formerly Luther Allison, Suzanne Vega and most recently Rhythm and Blues greats: Lucky Peterson, Taildragger, Georgie Fame, Geno Washington to mention a few.
Katie’s love for many different styles of Blues reveals her to be a very exciting artist who can cover and write in a myriad of different Blues disciplines. Her range can haunt you deep down into the spirit of the Delta Blues or raise your spirits when she leads a full band of many musicians. Katie extends her musicality, rhythm and love for rich melody in the Blues by playing Blues harp.

Dave Ferra
Biography
Dave Ferra is a blues guitarist and singer nominated for the UK Blues Awards in 2020. On his recent collection, “Starting Something,” his work thrives in the blues universe, supported by his sterling fingerstyle guitar and rack harp work. Ferra penned all 11 tracks, an array of Delta blues, Chicago blues, folk blues, jump blues, the walking blues and the talking blues.
Ferra’s compositions suggest that resilience and a sense of humor can perhaps get us all through just about anything. This album may be the model elixir we require as we emerge – much like cicada Brood X singing their plaintive songs of love – from the pandemic.
