Ticket Info

In order to control numbers and comply with current Covid-19 restrictions in accordance with local authority guidelines for this market, all entrants to the Maidstone May Market 2021 will require a ticket on this occasion.

We strongly recommend ordering tickets in advance from the Zoom Events website as we cannot guarantee that any tickets will still remain available to purchase on the day. It will also help us to ensure that queues do not form at the market entrance if people have paid in advance.

All visitors to the market including children must have their own ticket so that we are able to monitor numbers. Tickets are chargeable at a nominal amount in order to help us cover the extra costs incurred in operating the ticketing system and other measures that are needed under Covid-19 restrictions. Such measures help to make the market safe and possible to operate during these unusual times.

To make the ticketing process as simple as possible, there are three ticket types:

Children (aged 0 – 4 years) – Free
Children
(aged 5 – 17 years) – 50p each
Adults (18 and over) – £1 each

Tickets provide entry on one day only. Please select your preferred date from the drop-down menu when booking. Tickets will be sent to the email address you supply during the booking process. We will need to scan the barcode on a printed copy of your ticket or on your phone upon arrival.

Any surplus ticket revenue remaining after ticketing administration and additional costs of Covid-19 safety measures have been taken into account, will be donated to Demelza Children’s Hospice.

Visitor Info

Maidstone has a long history, with evidence of settlement in the area dating back to the Stone Age. The town crest shows a beast from further back in history, an iguanodon, the fossilised remains of which were discovered locally in the 19th century, and now reside in the Natural History Museum in London.

As well as a bustling town, places to visit include: the 14th century Archbishop’s Palace on the bank of the River Medway, Brenchley Gardens, Maidstone Museum, Leeds Castle with its Mote and extensive grounds, and the beautiful venue for our event – Mote Park.

This market is within easy walking distance of the town so why not work up an appetite and leave the car at home and keep those options open. Come for a visit or stay for the day with plenty of foodie treats, the Famous Last Stand Bar and unusual items to browse.

PLEASE NOTE:
Advertised times may be subject to change at short notice.
Town-Live events are generally 7:00-9:00pm & 7:30-9:30 during the summer.
Ticket cancellations are non refundable.
