Festival 2021
For a third year, the Marlow Food & Drink Festival comes to Higginson Park with its unique offer of an informal, family friendly experience in an idyllic location. Grocery foods and drink together with a selection of international Street Foods, music stage, dining area and a wide selection of ales, ciders, craft lagers, spirits and fizz combine in this tasty offering alongside the River Thames.

The Thames path runs through Higginson Park with moorings for leisure boats and a boarding point for river cruises. Hugely popular with families for its café and playground, the park can be accessed from the town centre, so getting to and from the venue couldn’t be easier. Marlow itself offers a wealth of independent shops, so come to the festival and stay for the day to enjoy arguably the most attractive town on the River Thames.
Children’s entertainment, rides and slides add to the relaxed atmosphere and with alfresco eating area, live music and bars of clear distinction, all adding up to a most convivial weekend.
Travel by road – Marlow is close to the A404 and the M40
Travel by train – Marlow Train Station is just a 10 minute walk from the Festival.
Marlow Rowing Club, founded in 1871, is one of Britain’s premier rowing clubs and has produced many Olympic oarsmen including Sir Steve Redgrave. The club is based by Marlow Bridge and exercises above and below the lock. The Olympic lightweight men’s double-sculls gold medallist at Beijing 2008, Zac Purchase, is a former member of Marlow Rowing Club.
