Last weekend we embarked on the first of our five stage East Riding of Yorkshire FEASTival tour in Hessle. The weekend got off to a shakey start with gale force winds suddenly battering the town overnight on Friday and early on Saturday morning. Luckily the winds died down and after a blustery start it was safe to open up the FEASTival on Hessle Square to visitors. We are delighted the event was so well attended and vibrant – we hope this will be the first of many new events to be held in this venue!
During the weekend acts such as That Guy Called Si, Eleanor Grace, The Rockin’ Deltones and Av-It! performed their music live on stage, with family friendly comedy from The Discount Comedy Checkout taking over Saturday lunch time. We are grateful to all those who wrapped up warm in the January weather and joined in this brand new event for the town. Check out some of the images from the day below:
Delicious warming street food on The Square, Hessle

The Old Thyme Funfair entertains younger visitors with their hook a duck and candy stalls.
This weekend we visit Hornsea for the second stop on our East Riding of Yorkshire FEASTival tour. With more space in Cinema Street, we will have another great selection of food and entertainment plus extra children’s rides from the Old Tyme Funfair! Pop along if you can and join in the fun.
