Returning for 2020 the Corby Sausage & Cider Festival, located in the beautiful setting of West Glebe Park, promises a fantastic selection of foods, mouth-watering street dining and a large selection of cider on offer to wash it all down.
West Glebe Park is within easy walking distance of the town centre, so bus, train and shank’s pony are all viable modes of transport to get you safely to and from this exciting event now in its second year. This time at the request of you locals, we bring yet more sausages and cider.
A top line up of live music, entertainment for Children and a parent/carer and child area a little removed from the madding crowd. Safe for young and old and all those in the middle, the Corby Sausage and Cider Festival is a celebration of the traditional with the original in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Corby is located in the County of Northamptonshire, and has recently been noted to have the fastest growing population in England.
The town was at one time known locally as “Little Scotland” due to the large number of Scottish migrant workers who came to Corby for its steelworks.
Recently, Corby has undergone a large regeneration process with the opening of Corby railway station and Corby International Pool in 2009 and the Corby Cube building opening in 2010.
Places to visit nearby include Kirby Hall, East Carlton Country Park and Rockingham Castle.
