Driffield Michaelmas FEASTival
Reviving the Michaelmas Celebration which marks the end of Harvest and the onset of Autumn, the freewheeling FEASTival comes to Driffield town centre. Featuring music, comedy, street foods, bars and an eclectic market of crafts and foods including plenty of East Ridings finest produce, the FEASTival promises fun for all the family.

Visitor Info
The thriving market town of Driffield is also named ‘the Capital of the Wolds’, due to its central location within the Yorkshire Wolds. Its agricultural roots are evident, from the towns ‘name/entry’ in the doomsday book, to the motifs in the town crest. It also holds one of the largest annual agricultural shows in the UK each summer.
Notable residents include Benjamin Fawcett, 19th century woodblock colour printer, Alexander Francis Lydon who worked with with the Printer. Curtis Woodhouse, a former professional footballer and boxer, Mick Woodmansey, drummer with David Bowie and the author Hazel Gaynor.
In 2019 Sunday Times included the town in its Best Places to Live in northern England!
Local places to visit include Burton Agnes Hall, Sledmere House and gardens and Tophill Low Nature Reserve.
