The World Village Market will be visiting Henley on Thames for the 10th year. The World Village Market in Henley always delivers a great range of produce and products and tends attract the very best from our extensive database of businesses. Street food will also feature in the line up.
Today there is a comfortable mix of architectural styles spanning the centuries with many interesting features. With a population of some 10,000 Henley on Thames supports the many small, attractive villages in the countryside around. The town’s prosperity goes back to the 12th century as river trade developed because of the town’s position. Henley-on-Thames is a pretty riverside market town on one of the most beautiful stretches of the River Thames. It is an hour west of London and close to the M4 and M40 making it ideal for a day trip or for a long weekend away from the madding crowd.
