As 2022 draws to a close, it’s time to look back at some of the highlights of this year’s Zoom Events.
Thanks to everyone who visited a Zoom event, worked in our team, performed on stage or traded with us – you all helped to make this an amazing year! An unusually long spell of fine sunny weather through much of the summer created fabulous conditions for our food & drink festivals, FEASTivals and fantastic street markets. Can you spot yourself in the photos below as we look back at some of the best bits of Zoom Events 2022?
Worthing FreeWheelin FEASTival
The main summer season of Zoom Events got under way with a return visit to the beautiful Steyne Gardens in Worthing, conveniently located between the seafront and town centre. Glorious sunshine saw visitors turn out in larger numbers than ever before, as we enjoyed the early May bank holiday weekend with plenty of foodie treats and live music.
Broadstairs Platinum Jubilee Party
We visited the iconic Viking Bay Parade and Victoria Gardens in historic Broadstairs to host a Platinum Jubilee Party for our now late Queen Elizabeth ll. Bright and breezy weather throughout the long weekend saw plenty of visitors browsing a host of stalls and soaking up the sunshine in Victoria Gardens with street food and bar. Live music, featuring local Kent based artists played from our own stage and also the opposite bandstand arranged by the local council.
Hythe Food & Drink Festival
Situated beside the idyllic Royal Military Canal, Zoom Events Hythe Food & Drink Festival in Holman’s Field enjoyed another record-breaking year! Extended to five days to accommodate ever increasing visitor numbers, the festival was packed throughout as we enjoyed a great selection of food & drink, live music and stand-up comedy.
Deal Food & Drink Festival
It was a sizzling end to the summer as we visited Deal Castle for a fifth year to host Deal Food & Drink Festival! For the first time we added a beach bar directly overlooking the spectacular Kent coastline.
Tenterden Christmas Market
In late November, we hosted Tenterden Christmas Market for the first time since 2016. Taking on the market at short notice, we helped to bring some Christmas festivities to the centre of town for the Christmas lights switch on alongside the many independent retailers.

2023 promises to be our best ever season of Zoom Events with a packed calendar of old favourites and brand-new venues. We will be returning to Worthing, Hythe, Deal, Broadstairs, Tenterden and Tankerton, as well as taking our brand of family-friendly food related fun to Oxted and Brighton for the first time!
